Recruitment and admissions for students working toward completing their Bachelors, Masters and PhD.

Opened the campus food pantry at a small private University. Wrote proposals, secured administrative and outside support, recruited and trained volunteers, wrote procedures, promoted services, grew client base, expanded services, and hosted fund-raising and food collection drives. Services included convenience meal for dorm residents, food packages for clients with access to kitchens, sanitary and personal care products, and cooked communal meals. Supervised and scheduled one paid student work-study employee, one college intern, and dozens of volunteers each semester.

Connected community members in southeast Fort Worth with agencies and services. Connected community members and college students with service opportunities. Served on city commissions, community advisory panels, and non-profit boards. Planned and conducted outreach fairs. Topics addressed included urban renewal, affordable housing, health care access, juvenile literacy, adult English skills, immigration assistance, and food insecurity.
