Responsible to develop and manage standardization of processes and controls for customs compliance improvement by the implementation of policies, procedures and Non Compliance Metrics, as well as the strategies for operational cost and lead times improvement for finished products and row materials.

Develop and execution of communication, training and advising strategies in Foreign Trade and Customs Compliance for Latin-American North affiliates. Supported 14 strategic businesses units in logistics and customs matters and developed logistics and customs strategies to minimize total landed cost and import duties of raw materials and finished goods. Member of the Global Customs compliance team supporting turnaround efforts for underperforming compliance metrics. Evaluated and analyzed Mexico and Colombia HTS codes, regulations, FTA's application, etc. for new products to reduce fiscal and customs risks and to optimize logistics opportunities Developed cost reduction and savings initiatives within all SBU's.
