A few milestones in numbers: • Launched the inaugural WEPOWER Accelerator, the first accelerator in St. Louis to specifically focus on Black and/or Latinx entrepreneurs, producing over 90+ applicants and the recruitment of 50+ subject matter experts• Supported over 60 entrepreneurs in accessing over 2 million via various forms of capital including grants, microloans and traditional loans, and revenue-based investments• Assessed over 500 businesses and startups, ranging from seed and development to growth businessesI’m an experienced Program Manager specializing in entrepreneur development, small business capital access, and designing and launching program pilots. On one hand, I’m deeply committed to people development and cultivating an execution-oriented environment. On the other hand, I’m dedicated to understanding and addressing systemic challenges. These strengths empower me to approach challenges with adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a keen understanding of diverse needs.I’ve worked closely with a broad range of constituents including parents, youth, lenders/investors, educators, entrepreneurs and small businesses, and community organizations. I find inspiration in exploring the interplay between economic development, social equity, and inclusive growth. By understanding the historical context, cultural dynamics, and economic systems, I seek to identify innovative approaches that can foster sustainable and equitable development.Beyond my professional pursuits, I have personal interests in anthropology, history, and language. These areas of fascination fuel my curiosity about people, provide historical context to better understand the present, and allow me to appreciate the power of language as a means of communication and connection.
