When the opportunity came up, I competed for a Primary Designer Role and won it. I then was in charge of the Air Register CAD Design team consisting of 4 Engineers.When the Air Registers Program finalized, I became responsible for the Finish Panels and Air Registers team (8 Engineers total) in a new program.

On my return to Mexico, I was assigned to the Air Registers team, where we developed 4 IP Register assemblies and a couple of console Air Register assemblies. Established a Method alignment Forum with Dearborn to ensure best practices alignment between the CAD teams of both countries.

I was selected from the Design Engineering team for an International Service Employment (ISE) in Dearborn, Michigan. Switch to Forward Model development. Responsible of Quarter Trim system design; achieved release of the system components on time. During this time, developed some CAD efficiencies that were published and released globally to all CAD groups in Ford, using VB Macros (using exceln and CATIAv5) and Catia V5 automations (like powercopies and UDF)

CAD Lead for Post Release changes on a couple of programs for the Body Interior - Hard Trim Commodity; collaborating with Engineering Team and Supplier (based in Valencia, Spain) for quick turn arounds (less than 24 h).

Performed as CAD Engineer on Body Exterior - Fascias, responsible for trim components like fog lamps and beauty shields supporting Design Release process.

Selected to participate as Trainee in the Design Engineering group; assigned to the Door Trim team.
