• Ensure the implementation of the Zurich’s ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) to support the achievement of business strategy, objectives and performance, embedding the risk management tasks in the different business.
• Ensure the implementation and the fulfillment of the Solvency requirements, namely in what regards to the pillar II, including the system of governance, development of policies and the own risk and solvency assessment.
• Ensure the adequacy for the content of the reports within the Solvency II regime, including the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment report, Regular Supervisory report and Solvency and Financial Condition Report;
• Develop the risk appetite statement and perform the quarterly monitoring of their metrics;
• Coordinate and facilitate the risk assessments – Strategic Risk Assessments and Other Risk Assessments – and monitor the improvement actions;
• Identify risk accumulations and risk trends;

• Develop the Internal Audit plan, aiming the achievement of the overall objectives of the Company;
• Develop the Unit operational plan, with powers to guide and monitor their implementation;
• Coordinate and guide the work performed by the Internal Auditors Team;
• Lead all projects related to their area of expertise;
• Accountability to the Company's management for the good performance of his team and the achievement of the goals set for the Unit;
• Lead the implementation of the ICF (Internal Control Framework) project, established by the Zurich Group for all Business Units, in order to be in compliance with the Sarbanes – Oxley standards.
