• Provide procurement support and supervision to the Corporate Communications, Brand Equity Development, and the Government & Public Affairs Business Units in accordance with our policies and procedures. • Assist and train business units as needed on procurement process such as Competitive Bid Exception, RFI/RFQ/RFP and contracts using our GEP system. • Strategically evaluate vendor pricing to help reduce costs and get the overall best price possible • Negotiate Services, Materials and Sponsorships Agreements across all business units. • Assist users/requisitioners in developing scopes of work, technical specifications, and other requirements.• Establish and maintain secure sources for required materials and services. Handle vendor vetting and set-up process for use through the SAP system and maintain positive vendor relations.• Work with Optimization and Compliance to properly vet potential vendors and to monitor existing vendors to mitigate risks to CITGO.• Update vendor products descriptions and pricing periodically for Material Outline Agreements in SAP for our Branding team. • Hold quarterly Voice of the Customer meetings with the Business Units I support for insight on any upcoming projects and get their feedback regarding any concerns on my performance or any vendors who are not performing up to company standards. • Review Customers' requisitions and process Purchase Orders in SAP to procure materials and services at the most favorable price consistent with requirements for quantity, quality, safety, and delivery to support the assigned CITGO Business Unit(s).• Coordinate with Customers to jointly evaluate performance of existing suppliers and contractors and determine any need for alternates.• Supports the maintenance of current vendor lists capable of supplying assigned commodities and services.• Work in collaboration with other Purchasing Agents throughout the organization to help support their Business Units when needed.
