Providing technical guidance, work breakdown and project planning, and driving change through partnering with multiple internal organizations. Accomplishments:-Completed a multi-year program to mitigate security vulnerabilities by migrating multiple services to secure remote access based on BeyondCorp and Least Privileged principles. In partnership with Security, Site Reliability Engineering, and Enterprise Fleets & Integration Management teams. -Completed a major application upgrade of WebCTRL for hundreds of Google offices across North America. This upgrade enabled IPv6 and BACnet SC (encrypted communications), as well as enabling scalable and automated service management.

System Administration and support of application servers and field devices/controllers for the Building Mangement Systems and Physical Security teams.Accomplishments-I integrated all Building Management Systems (BMS) and devices used across hundreds of Google managed real estate facilities into a complex and highly secured corporate network. -Improved efficiency of the BMS applications through analysis of usage patterns, customer user journeys, and implementing system configurations to improve facilities management.-I was a major contributor to Google's BMS security analysis and design, and directly responded to security incidents. I worked very closely with internal network security teams to meet the security and operations needs of my customers.-Guided security and enterprise scalability improvements through meetings with multiple manufacturers, included Automated Logic, Radix IoT, Schneider Electric, Delta Controls, Tridium, Enlighted, Johnson Controls, to name a few.

I managed and supported a region of Tech Stop locations in Mountain View (main campus for Google) for walk-up tech support.Accomplishments-Project managed a team of Corporate Operations Engineers to assess, plan, and deploy upgraded videoconferencing equipment to ~100 conference rooms.

Managed a small and fantastic team of IT support professionals across Google campuses in Los Angeles, Austin, Boulder, and Irvine. The role also included Inventory procurement and vendor management.

I provided direct Technical Support to Google Employees, Vendors, and Contractors. This included support of Linux/Mac/Windows desktops and laptops, mobile phones, video conference equipment, on-premise servers and NetApp appliances. I also coordinated and provided IT support for office expansions and relocations, including printer, VC, and server infrastructure.Accomplishments-Supported and assisted in the migration of Google's acquisition related server hardware in the region, including Picasa and ASI (later Ads for Parked Domains).-Supported the local point-of-presence for Google's production services, located at One Wilshire. Deployed servers to the site and provided on-call support for the facility.

I reported directly to the CTO at Neopets, and was responsible for Software and Hardware management of datacenters in Los Angeles and San Jose.Accomplishments-Automated deployment of Mandrake Linux servers across a mixed hardware fleet to replace a variety of outdated Redhat installations. This directly led to doubling site outbound bandwidth, and significant revenue increase from advertisements.-Setup an additional datacenter in San Jose from scratch. I racked and configured a fleet of servers and a NAS array to prepare for an upcoming collaboration between Neopets and McDonalds. This site was operational within deadlines, and enabled redundancy and increased revenue through expedient advertisement loading.
