I work in Dr Grant’s lab at the UAB department of Ophthalmology studying diabetes and diabetic eye disease. We have experience using model organisms and human subjects in translational research.

Took patient medical histories, checked vitals, tested visual acuity and intraocular pressure, took OCT images. Communicated with physicians and other team members to coordinate patient exam and testing logistics. Assisted with Spanish translation

Worked in a team performing structural and loads analysis for rollout and launch of the NASA SLS. Wrote scripts to analyze day of launch conditions. Learned how to analyze systems with millions of degrees of freedom. Helped organize data for reports.
