LibrariesFirst is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides public and school libraries with products and services that reduce the cost of government and enhance the library patron experience over a wide geographical area. My role is fostering growth through product/service development, vendor and library relations, communications, brand formation and enhancement, budget and accounting integrity, strategic and tactical planning/implementation, regulatory compliance, negotiating agreements, and personnel management.

LWC provides leadership education and experience to persons who demonstrate leadership potential, and live or work in Walworth County. This nine-month program includes specific skill training (systems, negotiation, communication, etc), opportunities to meet and interact with established leaders in their communities, and guidance regarding capstone projects that benefit county residents. I develop curriculum and teach the skills and analysis program. As with all of my teaching, the key to effectiveness is engagement with students, helping them integrate content into their thinking and behavior in vocational and avocational environments. As Co-Director, I manage all accounting and regulatory functions. My colleague and I cooperate on strategic and tactical planning/implementation, program growth and development, and general curriculum direction.

Consult with privately- and publicly-held, profit and non-profit organizations to provide personnel leadership and management skills, knowledge retention, relationship-building, conflict resolution, team-building and negotiation. Using best practices of engagement, I work with front-line supervisors, managers, directors and executives, each person learning concepts and practicing skill sets necessary to be more effective leaders.

Teaching negotiation and client counseling to L2-L3 law students concentrating on interest-based concepts and technique, trust-building, communication, establishing "wise" and sustainable agreements, relationship-building.Judge for the Bi-Annual INADR International Mediation Competition, which brings law students from 60 universities located in 20 countries.

Developed a three-year undergraduate curriculum to integrate smoothly with current programs and schedules; managed strategic and tactical planning to prepare the college for residential students, involving and coordinating every department and service; researched, analyzed, prepared and identified partners and faculty to teach as the university initiates on-line delivery of courses in several areas of study.

Led and managed a high-performance technology team of technicians, network/servers specialists, database programmers/analysts, support personnel. Initiated and conducted a complete system re-design, expansion and installation, including all servers, wiring, operating systems, user training, web presence, data and general application systems.
