EHS DIRECTOR at Zodiac Aerospace – Aero design Tijuana ( 3 Manufacturing Plants, 1 Warehouse, 1 Metal Working area.)• Developing and executing the strategic environmental, safety and health policies from corporate, legal, clients and local management by implementing the annual strategic plans, based on ISO OHSAS elements • Development, leadership, and execution of each locations Safety and Health improvement strategies through the deployment of a proactive improvement process, including the management of change process, training and communication.• Standardization and follow up in process like communication, Incident Investigations, Legal and corporate compliance, performance and closure of safety implementations• Focus on the responsibility of ensuring compliance with all local Safety and Health regulations, buy implementing programs like EMPRESA SEGURA, and AUTOGESTION and INDUSTRIA LIMPIA.• Leading the deployment of the corporate safety process. Safety (3 Factories)1. Planning and development programs to identify and control risks in facilities and process in order to maintain compliance with the Mexican Labor laws of STPS and the Honeywell Corporate Requirements through the Implementation of a complete HSE management system, supported by legal and corporate requirements.Environmental 2. Planning and development programs to identify and control environmental impacts of the operation in order to maintain compliance with the Local, state and Federal Regulations (Air, Water, Soil, Residues).3. Base line establishment for ISO 14001 programHealth 4. Planning and development programs to identify and control the operations with conditions able to generate pollution on the work environment and ergonomics factors related with the operation also.Legal and regulatory5. Implementation of programs to access, implementation and sustainability of those legal requirements related to the operation as STPS, SPA, CESPM, PROFEPA, SEMARNAT, Global Risk and Global Security.Medical 6. Responsible to implement a health conservation program system on the medical service, offer the first attention in case of accidents and do the adequate attention base on IMSS, corporate and OSHA criteria.Security 7. Support the security area in order to maintain the Certification of CTPAT, export compliance, GRC and Corporate requirements.Management and Quality Systems 8. Responsibilities:  Maintain compliance with legal and corporate requirements applicable to the three plants located in the City of Nogales Sonora.  Responsibility for the authorities related to the area at the federal, state and municipal, as are STPS, IMSS, SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, CEDES and OOMAPAS.  Corporate Responsibility for the implementation of the policies of United Technologies Corporation and Otis Elevator Company, Environmental and Safety Indicators Report. Attention Corporate Internal Audit.  Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the ISO 14001.  Responsible for Implementing and Maintaining CTPAT System awarded by the CBP American and security department Supervision.  Responsible for the Medical Service of the plants. Main Achievements  Winners of Otis Presidents Award 2008 For Best Safety Performance. Reduced Risk Premium IMSS percentage (one point per year during 2007, 2008 and 2009.)  25% reduction in emissions of greenhouse gases in the years 2008 and 2009.  50% reduction in the emission of hazardous waste in the years 2008 and 2009.  Regularization of the three plants in the state of applicable licenses and permits as LAI and Wastewater Discharge.

Responsibilities:  Maintain compliance with legal and corporate requirements applicable to the operation, four production areas, 1,500 employees.  Responsibility for the authorities related to the area at the federal, state and municipal, as are STPS, IMSS, SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, CEDES and AGUAH.  Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the ISO 14001. Responsible for the security department. Responsible for the Medical Service department.
