Edgar Werblowsky is a founder of Freeway Brasil, Freeway Viagens and Immaginare.Graduated as a civil enginner, Edgar worked three years in this field. Than he changed to marketing, workin more two years in this area.In 1983 Edgar realized a great shift in his life when he started Freeway. Freeway was aimed to building bridges between people, brazilians, and the nature of Brazil. Edgar started taking people to discover the beautiful nature of this country, its hidden mysteries.With this came the discovery of the interior of the land, its rainforest, its national parks, its secluded beaches, its people and culture.Since than Freeway has been a stronghold in the research of destinantions in Brazil and other countries.In late years Edgar has put much energy in making connections with knowledgeable and passionated facilitators in different cultural areas, creating high quality trips in Brazil and abroad for distinct groups of people interested in special themes.Edgar has been lecturing about sustainbale tourism, thematic tourism, in many places, such as Livraria Cultura.

Than TOI got the support of UNESCO and also of UNWTO , the United Nations World Tourism Organization.As a member of the board for a couple of years I got the opportunity of meeting with some of the most experienced and sustainable pro active leaders of this industry.From that meetings came the idea of starting a pionneer program of social engagement here in Brasil, the Campaign against Sexual Exploitation of Children in Tiurism, an action that showed the possibility of engaging the tourism sector in this important issue.
