· Support the development of the Protein Category’s purchasing strategy across 2,200+ Panda Express restaurants nationwide.· Manage and execute cross-functional projects such as Core Menu Elevation, Limited Time Offers, Supply Risk Mitigation, Product Specification Optimization, and Operations Efficiency.· Collaborate with Brand, Product Innovation, Finance, FSQA, Suppliers, and Distribution Services to research, negotiate, procure, develop, test, and launch innovative products across select/all restaurants.· Supervise week over week demand from DCs against Suppliers’ production and contractual commitment.· Co-Lead our Purchasing Budget process through negotiations, spend analysis, and short/long term category optimization, in support of Panda Express’s Annual Operating Plan (AOP).

· Support and execute cross-functional projects such as Core Menu Elevation, Limited Time Offers, and Operations Efficiency.· Identify new suppliers in collaboration with FSQA to support future growth by evaluating suppliers’ manufacturing and production capabilities. · Conduct annual Supplier Business Reviews and scorecards to elevate Supplier performance and partnership.· Support VP of Purchasing with our Annual Operating Plan through a Spend Analysis on the Protein category.· Developed our Demand & Supply forecasting reports to identify and mitigate potential inventory gaps.

· Support new market openings by determining the market's product source (import/local), obtaining market specific regulatory documents, and coordinating shipments for opening orders. · Proactively communicate projected usages to Purchasing (Domestic) for new market and new store openings to ensure supply availability for all export products.· Collaborate with the proper PRG stakeholders to support International Marketing's initiatives and Limited Time Offers (LTOs). · Communicate domestic changes on Pricing, Suppliers, and Distributors to International Partners to support market's supply base. · Manage the relationships with and between International Partners, PRG Stakeholders, and Distributors.

· Identify and resolve distribution service challenges such as late deliveries, shortages, property damages, and quality issues using KPIs to measure regional performance. · Coordinate Product Holds and Recalls in collaboration with the Distributors, FSQA, and Purchasing.· Maintain Supply Chain product database by creating or activating products to ensure smooth order workflow. · Attend regional Operations meetings with Store Operators and DC Partners to discuss DC KPIs and opportunity areas for all stakeholders.· Develop SOPs for New Associate On-Boarding and Cross-Training opportunities.

· Provide fast, friendly, and great service to Customers by proactively understanding their needs. · Maintain in-stock and clean presentation in all Garden Department aisles.· Stay current and educated on all new and seasonal items arriving in the Garden Department.· Perform opening and closing procedures as instructed by Department Heads. · Support our seasonal Christmas tree lot operations with receiving, trimming, bagging, and loading activities.
