Managed a small team of IT and programmers, reducing our footprint from over 50 servers to 4, while maintaining a high availability and responsiveness of our system for our internal users as well as the customers. This all thanks to virtualization and optimization of the code used throughout our systems. Set budgets and acquired equipment that allowed the business to maintain and even increase speed with a smaller footprint. Trained employees in almost all positions in the company, reviewed current processes and recommended optimization to the team leads for each department so as to speed up the operations while still maintaining accountability for each employee. Converted all our ASP Classic code to .net Core to speed up the development of new features. Generated Rest APIs, integrations with external API services like FedEx, UPS, eBay, and Shipstation.Took over the accounting department managing and overseeing all aspects of the business financials while still taking care of the IT and software development. Automated several processes and reports in the accounting department to allow for better time management and visibility for the company owners. Continued with process optimization for every department based on observations and input from the team leads.

Responsibilities included informing customers about products, using our POS and Inventory control system. Computer repair and troubleshooting down to the component level. Train, oversee, and lead a team of technicians in our service center to provide our customers with a fast turnaround and excellent repair quality. Implementing systems to automate and optimize several of the management duties and reporting. Programmed the Geeks Store website in PHP and MySQL database when the main geeks.com was brought offline. Training new employees in every area of the business and helping with interviews for new hires.

Delivered custom software for several businesses across several states in Mexico, delivering software for Health Clinic environments, Pawn Shops, Retails Stores, and more. Also provided the customers with hardware equipment and network installations as needed. Some graphics design provided.
