As a member of Parker Hannifin's Supply Chain Leadership Development Program, I rotated to three divisions within the Aerospace Group. I spent my first 12 months at Stratoflex Products Division in Fort Worth, Texas as a Production Planner. I spent my next 6 months at Fluid Systems Division in Irvine, California as a Buyer. My last 6 months were spent at Hydraulic Systems Division in Kalamazoo, Michigan in my Logistics rotation. As a Planner, I had responsibility over two value streams totaling $1.2M in monthly sales. In addition to daily LISC and Inventory responsibilities, I lead projects to create a production schedule and implement a "cut to length" program with key raw material suppliers.In my rotation as a Buyer, I managed three main suppliers improving SLISC by 24, 27, and 71%. SLISC was improved by creating effective reporting tools, properly communicating forecasts to suppliers, and building a collaborative approach to supplier development. In addition to my responsibilities as a buyer, I lead a "Build to Rate" project with over 100 suppliers to convert spot buy PO's to LTA and Kanban releases. Stabilizing the schedule and adding parts to LTA increased SLISC as well as LISC to our premier customers.In my Logistics rotation, I was focused on the Warehouse transformation project. I lead and facilitated multiple Kaizen events to increase efficiencies and reduce cycle times in Storeroom and Shipping. A few improvements included pick lane implementation, enhanced selection equipment, racking consolidation, and 5S. Raw Material warehouse realized $100K in inventory reduction in addition to 50% footprint reduction.As an LDA, I had dotted line connection to the VP of Supply Chain for Parker Aerospace. Throughout my experience as an LDA, I presented to Group and Corporate executive staff during each rotation.
