About Edgardo Velez

Born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to Florida to earn my Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, Astronautics track. Now I live in Salt Lake City, Utah for my job as both a Systems Engineer and Scrum Master at Northrop Grumman. Here I get to enjoy running, hiking, and beautiful scenery!Working at NGC has taught me the value of communicating and establishing bonds with your team. I started out with little knowledge of my role, no confidence in my voice, and a position as the Systems lead for a team of engineers. Over the years, I learned more about MBSE and the Agile framework and leveraged this knowledge to make real improvements to my team and how we organize ourselves. I was inspired to improve myself as Scrum Master and Systems Engineer, not simply for myself, but for my team and our collective success. My goal is to help create high-performing teams and foster an environment where we can all grow together!
