Quality/NPI Department.Responsible for FAI /Pilots & NPI Process Based in Flextronics & Jabil Mexico, supporting worldwide EMS sites in America, Europe & Asia. Validate and train all the FAI internal and external for all the carriers , provide support to the EMS sites for FAI Qualification , Pilots Approvals , Shipping approvals ,Training into Blackberry Quality standards and Support for the launching of new devices & setup of lines, BETA tester for devices 7.1 and BB10 in hardware & software, Document and audit ,Quality meetings with all the quality managers worldwide into FAI readiness ,support for the launching of new devices & setup of lines in all the EMS sites worldwide , Line readiness audits of lines and current production, Interact with related departments to resolve NPI issues, Manage and control the technology transfer process to provide the right tooling and knowledge to Outsourcing sites, Evaluate the results from the Engineering and Quality builds to drive actions resulting in a smooth High Volume product ramp up, Provide feedback to both Blackberry Design and Engineering teams driving High Level Management meetings to show the results.

Responsible for Enterprise lines in Flextronics, Sanmina (local & international support) in test areas & NPI, transferences from Canada to Mexico. Test Engineer Senior & NPI Engineer for the Nortel Enterprise products ( BCM450 ,400, 50, LPS, Norstar & Taurus phones ) main roles were to be on charge for the local support for the manufacturers sites in Mexico helping them to improve the lines, yields handling, quality support, software issues, hardware & design problems; on duty to perform the NPI & transfer activities from Canada ,USA to Mexico: training the new engineers for support the lines and design the new test labs locally for sustain the products and testers supported sustaining products at the CM, OEM, ODM and Repair House. Overall responsibility for technical development of products and for the smooth transfer of the product from design to implementation. Insured product quality and reliability in meeting customers’ expectations and requirements while keeping cost in check. Identified and initiated leading edge technology and methodologies to ensure world class performance in product design and new product introduction processes. Member of new product introduction teams and continuous improvement team that ensured products met time to volume and quality requirements. Responsible for the NPI, Sustaining in Optical lines as a prime of test in 4 different families of products, improvements of the lines.Test Engineer prime for OM5K, OM3K, OM3K10G, OM5K10G, sustaining in the lines for technical issues, software sustaining in LabView-Delphi, introduction of NPI activities, develop new tools for the lines, training for the new engineers & technicians.

On charge for the OM3K & OM5K lines, repair area, design the test steps for each tester (prefunctional, functional, system, final, ESS),sustaining this lines in Software scripts & hardware issues.Primary Test Engineer for perform the transference's of lines to Guadalajara Mexico.

Responsible for the color machines in Xerox products, quality issues in digital imagine process, responsible for quality labs in electronics problems, first point of contact with the costumer.
