I help clients identify and tell their stories and express themselves primarily through illustrations and graphic art and design. I also consult with creatives and help them navigate their creative practice and develop their creative thinking.

I create digital and traditional illustrations in a variety of styles and mediums for a broad variety of clients. I work on personal small scale commissions such as family portraits as well as corporate art commissions. I do storyboarding as well as illustrations for books, graphic narratives and basic traditional animation. I have a YouTube channel where I breakdown my art process and share on how I conceptualise ideas and how I then transfer these ideas to the final art piece based on the brief/intended result.

Graphic Designer, illustrator and Research assistant.I was introduced and worked with a team of senior scholars and researchers specializing in the field of housing, during a research project titled URBAN MISSING DATA as an illustrator. The research looked at water and sanitation in informal/slum settlements and went on to became their associate when they formed the Dar es Salaam city Lab.

The center is located in the one of the oldest buildings in Dar es Salaam built by Sultan Majid bin Said of Zanzibar, which was later repurposed as a German Boma and is currently known as the Old Boma. My work at the Dar es salaam Center for Architectural Heritage (DARCH) involved assisting with running of daily administrative tasks but also required flexibility in adapting to other roles that presented themselves as the team was a small one. these roles included helping with brand material design and manufacture, supervision of the different restoration works of the Old Boma, organizing and running events and competitions, conducting city tours and giving talks on heritage to local and international university students.
