Initiatives for Development of Armenia Charitable Foundation (www.idea.am) was established by the entrepreneurs and philanthropists Ruben Vardanyan and Veronika Zonabend. The Foundation focuses on programs which achieve tangible socioeconomic development and assist Armenia in transition from the survival model to the prosperity model. IDeA is committed to promoting social entrepreneurship in Armenia through investments in long-term, non-profit projects, as well as ensuring their sustainability.The Foundation implement large-scale charitable initiatives in Armenia, Artsakh and the Armenian diaspora which strive to preserve the historical and cultural heritage of the Armenian people and revitalize the nation in an ever-changing world. Among the flagship projects of IDeA Foundation are UWC Dilijan (www.uwcdilijan.org), Tatev Revival, Reconstruction of St. George Cathedral in Tbilisi, Dilijan Development project and many others.I have been on board since 2012 and started as senior project manager being responsible for UWC Dilijan project. In November 2014 was appointed as a Deputy CEO of IDeA Foundation, starting from July 2015 was assigned the role of acting Director of IDeA Foundation.

Under Loan Agreement ARM-P2 with Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), the Yerevan TPP implemented the Yerevan Combined Cycle Co-generation Power Plant construction Project.• Managed the Project for Power Plant construction.• Originated, executed and closed two of three stages of project (Consultant procurement stage and EPC Contractor procurement stage).• Handled the international tender for selection of Consultant and Prime Contractor (EPC).• Led the commercial evaluation and negotiation teams.• Implemented the evaluation of tender documents.• Negotiated with Tokyo Electric Power Services Co., Ltd (Japan), Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (Japan) and GS Engineering & Construction (Korea) to improve the cost effectiveness of the Project.• Negotiated with Project parties, secured Project payments and opened Irrevocable Documentary Credit (ICC's UCP 500 and 600) in favour of Consultant and EPC Contractor in Bank of Tokyo- Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. (Tokyo).• Established and developed the financial management policy and strategy of the project.• Monitored and controlled the financial payments and transactions for project implementation.• Planned project financing and budgeted £22 million for 2007. • Negotiated with local bank, consulted and assisted to Consultant to open first Japanese Yen bank account in Armenia that rationalised and increased the efficiency of Loan.• Monitored the contractual obligations of consultant and contractors.• Developed the export/import scheme for Project implementation. • Directly supervised 31 people local staff.• Reported and presented the Project Status Reports to the government and JBIC.

• Represented the interests of the Company in Russia and CIS countries.• Introduced a new vision and strategy for Representation Office development.• Initiated the analysis of a financial management for 1997-2005 and based on results restructured the Representation Office for improving its financial status.• Changed the budgeting concept of Representation Office.• Reformed and improved the financial operations of Representation Office.• Coordinated and developed the company’s international relations.• Negotiated the number of the tasks of Head Office in Gazprom (Russia) and ITERA (USA).

• Cooperated, negotiated and presented the company’s investment plans to the Russian financial institutions.• Communicated with partners in CIS countries to involve them into investment projects.• Developed the company’s business network.
