Mechanical Engineer - Biomechanics Research TeamInstitut Teknologi Bandung Feb 2020 - Jun 2022Bandung, West Java, Id-Autonomously engineered and assembled Rehab-Bot, an early-stage prototype of a home-based lower limb rehabilitation robot to conduct muscle exercise using virtual load with resistance up to 0.4 N/mm and 2.0 Ns/mm. -Developed CAD model and drawing using Fusion 360 by implementing parametric modeling to achieve ease of design iteration, manufacture, and assembly.-Implemented kinematics and kinetics using SolidWorks and motor sizing calculation using python to gain optimal selection of robot mechanism configuration, motor, and transmission.-Integrated mechatronics using ATmega328P and Embedded Linux (programmed with C++ and Python) over UART and Timer Interrupt based on user input to allow reliable robot operation at 20Hz.-Evaluated robot performance by experimenting with a healthy human subject and successfully generated virtual load by admittance-type haptic feedback with 99% accuracy. -
Mechatronics EngineerRobomarine Indonesia Oct 2018 - Jan 2020-Co-led a team of technicians and interns to develop and field test submersible robotic devices such as Remotely Operated Vehicles and underwater drones from design to customer shipping.-Redesigned the mechanical configuration of power supply-distribution module for Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) used to soft-start and maintain power supply stability using SolidWorks, allowing ease of ROV serviceability and maintainability. -Designed high-current transmission PCBs and other electronics for power supply-distribution module and stress-tested ROV to carry over 5000 W continuously for 8+ hours.-Developed CAD model of internal assembly base design for current autonomous underwater drone and future product lines by implementing design for reliability using SolidWorks to allow better maintainability of drones and optimal Center of Gravity locations to stabilize drone orientation during underwater deployment.
