My graduate-level course explores project management applications' potential uniqueness or distinctiveness in public versus private sector settings.We aim to develop a solid understanding of project management theory, research, and concepts, emphasizing change management, communications, network dynamics, and community engagement.By the end of this course, students should be able to: - Understanding of network design. - Employ strategies to address the ubiquitous issue of resistance to change. - Understand consensus building, conflict resolution, and leadership in building networks. - Understand project management design, development, and deployment. - Use project management tools, techniques, and skills. - Deployment of various communication methods. - Understand how to manage project cost, quality, and delivery. - Recognize and mitigate the early seeds of failure in the project life cycle. - Understand the implications, challenges, and opportunities of organizational dynamics in project management.
