ISO/TS-16949 Quality System Implementation.Main achievements: Implementing the quality system thru all the plant in order to be prepared for the ISO/TS-16949 audit. Establish all the quality audits and plans, passing all the customer quality audits. Implementing and training on the 8D methodology thru all the organization.

Coordinate Quality Engineers activities, Customer Service, Supplier Development, Quality Systems Maintenance (ISO-TS 16949). Coordinate Engineering Department, including Project Administration (APQP), process development, Manufacturing planning, equipment and tooling administration, packaging, etc. Main customers were Nissan, Toyota, Chrysler, Ford and GM.Main achievements: Certification on the ISO/TS-16949 quality system, containment elimination (Non Quality cost reduction) for international customers, keep excellent customer relationship, keep the quality team with less than 1% rotation, implementation of philosophy “production with quality” that started to change the culture of the people driving them to a world class production process.In the engineering side: line balancing to reach and improve the customer requirements, eliminating the overtime.

Development of new suppliers to assure that they meet Plastic Omnium expectative and maintain a confident Supplier Database. Work with suppliers on new projects to assure good launch for all Plastic Omnium Mexico Plants. Not only quality evaluation, but also capacity analysis, materials administration, programming support, project development (APQP) and Quality System implementation (ISO-TS 16949 and ISO9000). Main customers were GM and Chrysler.Main achievements: Development of a local supplier database to support the plant needs (saving on transportation), two successful launches with more than 20 suppliers at the same time, and development of an International paint supplier driving him from a 90% rejection rate to below 12% rejection rate.
