In 2001, almost 10 years betore Satoshi, launched Safevote and ZSentry. ZSentry provided the base: secure peer-authentication (aka blockchain), HIPAA email system, and proved coĺlisionless-hash. Created the first Brazilian CO2 laser in 45 days, in 1976, inspiring Professors and a research team at ITA. After the doctorate, created the first Brazilian CNC laser machines, with 80 bits, programmable by CAD/CAM. In 1979-83, earned doctorate in quantum optics and did postdoc research, at the MPQ (Max-Planck-Institut für Quantenoptik) in Munich. Created a model for the development of new atomic photodissociation lasers.Discovered new laser lines. Motivated the Wuppertal University to develop new molecules for iodine laser action, which were successful. Demonstrated for the first time that the iodine laser was not suitable for high-power laser fusion. Obtained the Dr.rer.nat. degree in 1983 with maximum ("sehr gut") thesis grade in the Physics faculty of the LMU (Ludwig-Maximilians Universität) in Munich, in quantum physics (Thesis --> Report MPQ-58). Published quantum computing in 1982, in Phys. Rev. A. Received the Ph.D. degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Planalto Research, and published the thesis at MDPI without cost in Mathematica on 12/25/2023 (Thesis online); the M.Sc. degree in Physics in 1978 and the Electronic Engineering in 1977 from the elite ITA (Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica). Earned the Judo black-belt in 1971. Universitary Judo champion in 1972, 1973, 1974. Moved to the US in 2000 to Safevote, a Modulo company. Approved secure/private voting method by the Statskontoret in Sweden. Approved method by MIT-Caltech and published patent-free at Springer Verlag. For 18 years did demonstrable work in voting, public and private, worldwide. Was invited to talks at MIT, Caltech, Sweden, Germany, and elsewhere. Selected by California to do shadow voting. Elections can use secure/private voting but will need to test competence, as Socrates said and the events of US Jan/6 and Brazil Jan/8 prove.At Planalto Research in 2022, works on digital quantum computing.
