As a successful and performance-oriented senior level human resource leader, I have spent the last twenty years as a respected HR professional in a wide variety of work environments. Over the years my focus has concentrated on strategic planning, organizational development, performance management systems, leadership development, succession planning, labor relations, continuous improvement and overall human resource management. I am well versed in employment and labor law as well as matters related to civil rights, affirmative action, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, OSHA, HIPAA and all related Federal and State statutes and regulations. As a Senior HR Leader I have had the honor of managing and developing a wide variety of staff, aligning each staff role and overall HR strategy with organizational strategic plans. Alignment has included the development and implementation of performance based management environments that translate strategic planning into departmental and individual staff goals. With established baseline performance metrics and effective monitoring strategies, coupled with achievable performance incentives, I am able to not only focus performance on goals, but also increase the effectiveness and quality of individual and overall organizational results.When it comes to underperforming staff, while my initial focus is always on providing opportunities for success, I also recognize and help leaders understand that the timeline for allowing staff to take advantage of those opportunities and demonstrate sustainable improvement is not open-ended.I excel at leadership & people management, time management, prioritizing tasks, collaborating with management and developing effective communication and organizational guidelines, policies and procedures.
