I bring more than 19 years of experience to my role as quality specialist–rock excavating for Nexus Construction Service Group. In this position, I am responsible for shot layout and design, blasting compliance, technical support to blast crews, product selection and assisting estimators with blasting costs.Prior to assuming this position, I served in several roles over the course of 17 years with Bloomsdale Excavating Co., Inc. In my initial role as a laborer, I performed a variety of duties including grade checking, laying pipe and assisting the blasting crew. After earning my blaster’s license in 1997, I served as blaster in charge on many projects. I was promoted to blasting supervisor in 1999, with responsibility for overseeing all of Bloomsdale Excavating’s blasting operations.
