I am Chief Executive and creator of Jewish Small Communities Network. That also involves me in being a commentator and activist for small Jewish communities in the UK.I am also an advocate of the fantastic pool of photographic talent we have outside of London, and am Director of the non-profit Shotupnorth.co.uk.Before becoming a community professional I had a life long career in both fine art and commercial photography. I also held a number of executive positions, running a Business Mentoring programme under the auspices of the Department of Trade and Industry; serving on the IT Executive of the Merseyside Development Corporation, and on the management board of the Association of Photographers. I founded Pacificstream and became its EU projects director, spearheading collaborative education pilot projects across European. On my move to Manchester I became a broadcaster on BBC Radio community programmes.I've been a passionate advocate of Jewish small communities for most of the 21st century... whilst still taking the odd snap.
