As the Regional Rigging Services Manager I advance and approve rigging plots for incoming shows at various hotels in the Western United States. I Inspect and maintain existing rigging points in our hotels, approve all CAD drawings of our hotel properties and make updates of any and all changes. I perform comprehensive load calculations for all incoming productions. I perform yearly load testing of all rigging points at our hotels, and quarterly inspections at all our rigging exclusive properties. I am in charge of hiring part time on call riggers to manage the daily rigging operations at our properties allowing us to maximize profits, and decrease the use of third party labor. United States

Under the newly merged Encore Global, a new rigging division was developed, Special Ops. I was assigned to work on the most important rigging projects for the SAV PGE/Show Services division, Hargrove and Encore Global. Responsibilities per project ranged from; Working with Sales Managers building proposals, budgeting, onsite support, rigging design and solutions, Vectorworks drawings, Braceworks calculations, sourcing gear, scheduling rigging labor, coordinating transport and all communication with the venues, or in the case of Summit of the Americas at the LA Convention Center, all of it. Successfully executing 300+ chain hoist events for Hargrove, such as the US-Africa Leaders Summit and Summit of the Americas, close to 100 rigging events for Encore Global and the PGE division I was able to process over $5M of rigging revenue in 2022.

Western United States

Jw Marriott L.A. Live

Under Branam Enterprises I was appointed as the Head Rigger for the JW Marriott in L.A. Live, one of Encore Event Technologies' most profitable venues in the region, my responsibilities included; site surveys and meetings with the clients, corporate level rigging management, from an idea to reality, load calculation and distribution, adequate gear, proper counts, rigging labor and schedules put together in order to complete all projects in the safest and most efficient manner.

Greater Los Angeles Area

As part of the executive team I was in charge of upgrading and implementing on-site safety protocols, lowering labor costs by cutting rigging labor overtime, stopping gear sub-rentals and pushing the use of present gear in stock. Overlooking all rigging projects, from financial planning and budgeting to assigning the proper leads to achieve maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction. Always bringing in new customers and branding through social media in order to increase external sales and company presence in the industry.

Greater Los Angeles Area

Responsible for designing and building permanent grid installations for Avatar 2, challenges for reality TV shows, such as Big Brother, Bad Girls Club, Best Ink, Germany’s Next Top Model, and Redneck Island season 2. Live event structures, such as the Oscars red carpet, arrival of the space shuttle Endeavour to Los Angeles, Choice Hotels, The Spartan Race and GLOW Santa Monica. Also, all of the flying acts for Premios lo Nuestro, Premios Juventud, The Latin Grammy Awards, and The Latin Billboards.

Baton Rouge, Louisiana Area

Spearheaded Branam’s efforts in opening 3 satellite locations in Louisiana, Georgia and Michigan. Managed Inventory, put together gear orders and deliveries, tracked expenses, assisted with payroll, provided structural rigging design, labor and consultation for films and TV shows such as: Battle LA, Battleship, Twilight Breaking Dawn, Oz The Great and Powerful and The Walking Dead season 2.

Miami

Up/Down rigging at the American Airlines Arena, Bank Atlantic Center, Hard Rock Live Seminole Casino and Bayfront Park. Ground support and self-climber builds at The Sun Life Stadium, concerts and trade shows including two Super Bowls and one NBA Championship.
