Been a Consultant in HortInvest Project Rwanda. The HortInvest project aims to increase farmers’ incomes, grow the relative contribution of the horticultural sector to the regional economy in North West Rwanda, and improve the food and nutrition security of the targeted households. SNV, Agriterra, Wageningen University & Research (WUR), IDH Sustainable Trade Initiative and Holland GreenTech together implement the project. As part of Enabling environment, My duties were but are not limited to farmers' capacity building, Support the development and piloting of Pesticide selection and Fertilizer application tool, Planning, organizing, facilitating, follow up and updating the manuals for the Financial Literacy training as a trainer of trainers for the farmers from different horticulture cooperatives , Supporting and Facilitating the districts Horticulture platforms meeting, workshops, Study tours where the members were the entrepreneurs in the horticulture sector, Preparing and Organizing logistics related to different trainings, meetings, workshops and other events with different public and private partners of the project, Follow up on different contracts and payments of Consultants under the enabling environment, Attending virtual workshops and meetings, Support the Monitoring and Evaluation team to collect necessary information on activities done using different database, Stories collection

I was an intern in HortInvest project Rwanda. As part of Enabling environment, My overall duty was to do an Assessment on Soil quality & fertility and the current status of the fertilizer market in the Horticulture sector in Rwanda (a case study of 6 districts where HortInvest project is operational), supporting different field activity and generate reports

PASP was a Climate Resilient, Post-Harvest and Agribusiness project in MINAGRI (Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources in Rwanda). I was a cooperative support officer in a cooperative of maize and beans value chains. As a Cooperative Support Officer, my duties were but not limited to trainings provision on the sensitive subjects that affected the Post Harvest handling activities starting from the cooperative management, Integrated Climate services for Agriculture, Supporting the cooperative to prepare and follow up on their market contracts with the potential buyers, Saving groups formation as an asset for agriculture investment and fighting against aflatoxin mostly in the maize value chain. But also I was working directly with the cooperative members in their daily farming activities with the aim of increasing the farmers' production.
