I engage in applied research and evaluation that strives to increase educational equity, strengthen education systems, and build understanding of the support needed to help students thrive. I have previous experience in examining the cultural and sociopolitical factors contributing to school readiness among children 0-5, evaluating higher education programs that promote equity in the workforce, and assessing the translation and implementation of immigration policy in education settings. Currently, I work closely with my colleagues to design research plans, collect data using quantitative and qualitative methods, and identify best practices and approaches for communicating findings.
