Managed accounting and administrative tasks associated with after school and summer enrichment program including program enrollment, collection of tuition fees, processing of financial aid requests and preparation of monthly program reports to school business office. Oversaw smooth operation of K-3 afterschool program, responding to any disciplinary incidents and serving as an after-school liaison between families, staff and Program Director.

Monitored the individual progress of 56 SEAD scholars both in terms of personal and academic life (in locations as diverse as East Boston, West Virginia, New York and New Hampshire). Communicated regularly with Dartmouth interns working in partner high schools and advised them where necessary. Brainstormed innovative means of supporting and improving the performance of scholars. Prepared and presented a fundraising pitch to Dartmouth alumni.

Recruited over 150 Dartmouth sophomores, faculty and staff to volunteer to work with SEAD scholars during the summer program. Coordinated all aspects of volunteer training and participation, including pairing volunteers to work one-on-one with scholars and supporting them during their work with the students. Prepared fund-raising materials and evaluation reports for the program.

Provided consistent and unbiased support to teenaged girls facing significant personal challenges. Communicated with the parents and/or other family members of children enrolled in the DREAM program. Assisted in the matching of new mentor pairings.
