After growing up on a farm in Ohio, I graduated with a degree in foreign languages from Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C. I also attended Master’s level classes in Business at the University of SC Upstate, and studied German at the Goethe Institut in Schwaebish Hall, Germany. I transitioned from translating German in a business environment to Human Resources. Since SEW-EURODRIVE’s inception of our South Carolina location in 1983, I have been fortunate to lead an amazing group of professionals. I’ve had the privilege of seeing our US Headquarters grow from a half dozen employees to 1000+; and going from one building; at the time not even completely built, to six beautiful buildings on our Lyman/Wellford campus. It has been a great experience to participate in administering a stellar Benefit Plan which is second to none, and to be a part of a global Company with a solid, family-oriented culture. I am proud of the Company SEW is and what it represents. Our Employees are first-class, and they are SEW HR’s top priority, along with furthering SEW’s overall goals. Human Resources professional with progressive and diverse experience with international industry experience. Solid managerial background with emphasis on Human Resources: HR, benefit administration, recruitment and retention as well as employment law, compliance issues including EEOC & ADA matters to name a few. Experienced working with all levels of management within an organization as well as with outside entities in a multi-national environment - domestic and foreign. Experienced with a variety of systems including Workday and Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).I have retired as of June 2024 after 41 years with SEW-EURODRIVE.
