As a health and physical education teacher, my goal is to develop a student's motor skills and physical development while teaching students proper exercise and good eating habits. I wish to see every child develop a love for physical fitness, and a passion for a healthier lifestyle. I do this by exhibiting, not only physical skills and development, but strong speaking and listening skills; by being knowledgeable about activity, and being able to communicate and demonstrate properly. I would describe myself as a "movement" based teacher, using demonstrations of skills and participation as the best means of students experiencing and developing necessary skills. In addition I maintain a continuous pattern of learning to ensure I am aware of the latest standards and teaching techniques. Young people need physical activity, for their bodies and their minds. My desire is to help them find activities they love and offer them the skills to stick with it. Specialties: Coaching, teaching, communication, fitness.
