Scanfil plc is a manufacturing partner in the electronics industry. It has nine factories in seven different countries, and over 3300 employees. I worked at the Global Communications & Marketing Team. My internship at Hannes Snellman offered a great opportunity to learn about human resources, communications, and employer branding. Ellun Kanat is a well-known change agency in Finland. I learned a lot about communications, consulting, and project work. During my internship, my tasks included:- background analyses (interviews, online research)- content creation (to social media and websites for different customers)- event production (internal and external events)- brainstorming Working in communications consulting required creativity, adaptability, and social skills.

Alma Talent is a Finnish media company. There, the work included arranging seminars, trainings and events. In trainings and seminars, the assistant was often alone representing the company. In practice, the assistant was responsible for ensuring that everything runs smoothly. The work also included preparations for the events and tasks after the event (e.g., feedback surveys). I also worked in events where we had hundreds of participants and many assistants working in different roles. I have worked e.g., as a technician, as a host to our speakers and as a front-desk. The work required social and organizational skills, as well as responsibility.
