About Edison Machado

Since 2008, I have been coding, leading, and managing internet-based systems, primarily using Ruby on Rails and its ecosystem. I have contributed to the development of successful projects for both my startups and clients.From 2014 to 2024, I founded and dedicated my life to my own tech companies, ranging from software houses to Online Travel Agencies (OTAs). These companies have helped many businesses achieve their goals on the internet and have assisted thousands of tourists in planning their trips.Alongside writing Ruby and JavaScript code, I created hundreds of spreadsheets and BI data dashboards. I managed projects and led developer teams using Agile methodologies. Additionally, I implemented CRMs and trained sales teams.Having worked extensively with e-commerce, I have also been working with user experience, payment methods, integrations with acquirers, and risk analysis for over a decade.Currently, I primarily study Java Spring Framework and work as full-stack developer with REST and GraphQL APIs, Ruby on Rails, React and Next.js.My Github is https://github.com/edison
