Genesys Works is a national nonprofit that empowers high school students from underserved communities by providing essential professional skills training and real-world work experience.As a Young Professional, I specialize in network security and contribute to various projects involving threat analysis, risk management, and security implementation. I identify and address security vulnerabilities to protect digital assets and maintain system integrity. My responsibilities also include creating detailed technical documentation to support security strategies.Additionally, I work on presentations and projects using Excel worksheets for data analysis and OS optimization tasks. I gain hands-on experience with network simulations using Cisco Packet Tracer, which helps me understand network configurations and troubleshooting. This role provides practical insights into cybersecurity and enhances my technical skills, preparing me for a successful career as a cybersecurity analyst.
