About Montpelier Fall FestivalThe Montpelier Fall Festival began in 2017 as the Kids Cup. The original idea was to create a fundraiser that brought together the community and raise funds to support the Union Elementary School Parents Group.Over the past seven years, the festival has grown and expanded. Each year has brought an evolution and increased participation from around central Vermont. We have enjoyed many fun activities including a one-mile fun run, raffles, dunk tank, storytelling, carnival games, live music, and food! In 2022, we partnered with All Brains Belong for a free Covid 19 vaccine/booster clinic. For 2023, we will be bringing back many favorites as well as some new surprises.The Montpelier Fall Festival has raised more than $40,000 since 2017 to support the Montpelier Roxbury Partners In Education. Served as liaison for local farmworkers of the dairy industry in order to facilitate access to medical and dental services.

During the 2019-2020, I had the very special opportunity to be a substitute teacher in our school district. I taught Elementary, Middle School, Special Education, PE and wherever I was needed on that particular day. This experience allowed me the unique opportunity of peeking into life inside our schools and the important role they play in our children's lives.

Partners include the Government of Germany, US Embassy in Panama, Ecuador Ministry of the Environment, UNESCO, SCBD, Panama Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), Panama National Environment Authority (ANAM), IUCN, the BBC, indigenous Kuna General Congress, many indigenous communities, NGOs and several private donors. Substantive collaboration with UN agencies include; UNESCO, UNEP, SCBD and UNWTO, as well as the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment process.

Taught Spanish and Spanish Conversation at the Montpelier Senior Center.

Responsible for the Employee Corporate Communications and the Corporate Social Responsibility strategy at Copa Airlines, handling a budget of approximately $1M. After having been the first trainee in the Copa Corporate Executive Development program. Organized and facilitated quarterly meetings for the more than 200 company managers. Responsible for facilitating CEO quarterly visits to all headquarter areas.

Provided case management, counseling, English classes and job training to welfare recipients as part of the NGO’s participation in the federal “welfare to work” initiative.
