Legal Services Manager
CurrentManagement of the daily operations of the Legal Services Department for a multi-state health system including consistent coordination with various other executive and senior institutional leadership, including Compliance, Risk, Finance, Human Resources and Materials Management Departments.Administrator and Developer for Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software including sole responsible party for design, implementation, education, stabilization, and optimization. Design of fully customized CLM to account for 40 individual contracting entities with 42 individual workflows each including automated approval and signature triggers. Each workflow and template were strategically designed and built for specific contract types and needs to allow for streamlining of the contracting process itself to create efficiencies for our business teams and clinical staff. Sole responsible party for design, build, and implementation of several fully automated workflows for specific contract types (from initial requests to drafting and finalization to signature).Administrator and Controller for Enterprise Policy Site including implementation aspects, security provisioning, as well as review/revise individual policies for statutory and regulatory compliance.Partnered with Risk Management to standardize insurance requirements and internal processes for responding to subpoenas and search warrants, as well as specific involvement in a variety of litigations. Developed cost-effective, large-scale document review strategies for applicable litigations including the selection and management of eDiscovery platforms and personnel.Drafting or revising of varying contracts including, but not limited to, equipment agreements, service agreements, data sharing agreements, confidentiality agreements, affiliation agreements, transfer agreements, employment agreements, bonus agreements, credentialing agreements, consulting agreements, and severance agreements.
