He loves to know how thing's works.Graduated from a mechanical engineering school, used to study visual communication design, Edi later found himself more interested in software engineering and decided to push himself in meanwhile keeping his mechanical engineering skills as his hobby.Edi started his software engineering career in 2009 as a local freelancer as well as in Odesk (now Upwork), jumping from one project to another (mostly PHP projects) before ended on a Magento project owned by a Japanese retailer in early 2014.Long story short, the Magento project got bigger and bigger then transformed into a start-up B2B eCommerce company. From one-army developer to many, from few freelancers to over a hundred employees. Edi is still working there as of today.Despite that his first programming skill is PHP and web-based thingy, Edi doesn't really fanatic to one language or framework. Edi's believes that everything can be learned and that a programmer (or engineer in general) should hold the thinking logic, concept and the mindset tightly instead of strict to specific programming language or framework.That what makes Edi super-flexible and flowing along the changes. For instance in Edi's current company, he has moved from one discipline to another. From a Magento to ReactJS, from ReactJS to SFCC (SFRA) developer as his current position. Apart of that he also used to help DevOps to deal with Linux server thingy, fixing Ruby and Python codes, as well as supporting other team with anything he may know.He loves riding, customize and even build a motorcycle, by the way.
