Over 26 years of experience in sports physical therapy, including 2 Olympics, a Paralympics, and countless international competitions along the way. Still love being part of a team and contributing to their successes on the field, even though it’s no longer as a player or coach. Retired after 20 years of rugby (with plenty of personal rehab experience 😉), but was also a three-season athlete in high school, and planned for a career in phys-ed & coaching. This later evolved into sports medicine & orthopaedics, and eventually sports rehab (after seeing the difference a great therapist can make when I was an injured college athlete). I’m grateful to all the sports medicine practitioners that have helped me along the way, inspiring me to be a life-long learner, as I continually search for skill-sets that give me the tools to address complex and/or obscure cases; loving the process of problems-solving and the challenge of finding nuances that give my athletes/patients that edge in rehab or performance. I’ve had the privilege of working with the highest level athletes including professional (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, WPS, AVP), Olympians, National Teams, and NCAA Division I : Football, Basketball, Wrestling, Lacrosse, Soccer, Hockey, Baseball, Crew, Fencing, Tennis, Golf, Volleyball, Gymnastics, Track & Field…but really just love working any level sporting activity, so long as it’s meaningful to them.
