• Read blueprints, diagrams and shop drawings for the assembly of lighting components for this LED lighting manufacturing company, servicing various industries including theater and stage; television and film; architectural design companies; etc.• Retrieve parts from stockroom according to bills of material for the assembly of lighting fixtures including power supplies, drivers, spacers, relays, plugs, switches, displays and solenoids, and install accessory assemblies in electrical units• Successfully differentiate lighting components for proper assembly of specified units• Apply coatings and execute proper cleaning and rinsing of assembled components• Inspect serial numbers and instructional guide for accuracy on assembled components, conduct 24 hourcontinuity testing to ensure proper functionality and prepare finished products for pre-packaging andshipment• Interface with shop supervisor in cases of diagram error for clarification of specifications• Maintain inventory and an accurate accounting of assembled wiring components and transfer to designatedbins for retrieval by production team members• Troubleshoot and resolve wiring challenges and ensure compliance of all quality assurance procedures• Answer to department supervisor and assist with job modifications, enhancements and rush orders
