Ongoing projects:- Adaptation Information Manager Consultant for the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean.- Social Specialist for Unit Shamar in International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) consultancy of Capacity building of management committees of Protective Forests and Vegetation of the Amazonian provinces of Napo and Pastaza in adaptation and resilience to climate change.- Social and Gender Specialist hired by the firm Hydroconseil / Nexsom for the Feasibility Study for the expansion of the sanitary landfill in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador, through funding from the Agence française de développement (AFD) and the World Bank.Successfully completed projects:- National Expert hired by the firm Deuman for the Mid-Term Evaluation of the regional project "Adaptaclima" of the Adaptation Fund, implemented by UNDP and implemented by the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF).- Associate Researcher with the team of the Polytechnic Superior School of the Littoral (ESPOL)for the study of the link between Climate Change, Environment and Migration contracted by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in 4 cities of the Ecuadorian coast.

Coordinate project implementation in 7 cities of 3 provinces of the country (Pichincha, Guayas and Manabí) and lead the project team to execute all project urban resilience activities for the achievement of the goals and results expected for USAID. Adaptive management of project´s actions implementation, MEAL and budget. Coordinate resilience actions implementation with a gender approach at neighborhood level in urban and semi-urban areas of the 7 project cities with the Municipalities and the National Disaster Risk Management Undersecretary

Consolidate the liaison, relationship and engagement with the national and bi national parties involved in the project, particularly with the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of Ecuador, to ensure the effective execution and achievement of the expected results of the project. Adaptive management during the implementation of project actions as collaborative and continuous learning processes. Elaborate executive project technical reporting for WFP, Ministries, Adaptation Fund and UNFCCC. Managed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with UN Women to implement the project´s gender mainstreaming strategy.

Prepared reports and technical inputs summarizing the implementation of the project in the 4 provinces of the country, aligned with the requirements of the Adaptation Fund, WFP and the Ministries of Environment and Agriculture & Livestock. Development and implement of the project´s gender and knowledge management strategies. Collaborated with the project´s Theory of Change and the Final Evaluation with gender and food security perspectives, under the WFP and Adaptation Fund principles and evaluation criteria

• Accomplished of the land tenure agreements in vulnerable post-earthquake affected communities in the province of Manabí.• Generated reports to ECHO on the implementation of the post-earthquake project at the territorial level.• Coordinated the construction of post-earthquake ecological housing in 4 vulnerable communities in two cantons of the province of Manabí.

• Lead a team of 4 people to manage, operate, and support of the Unique System of Environmental Information (SUIA) in the General Coordination of Environment Planning.• Created the environmental knowledge repository within SUIA as an online manager of environmental research results in the country.• Managed the updating of the strategic guidelines for environmental research at the national level.• Organized the national workshop of scientific research on climate change and published an academic article on the current state of climate change research in Ecuador as part of the articulation with the Third National Communication on Climate Change.• Management of lines of research and focal points of social and environmental sustainability with UNEP.

• Led a research team of 3 people to gather the primary socioeconomic information for the study through surveys, interviews and focus groups.• Coordinated research work with all key stakeholders, as well as timely reporting to the foundation.• Developed two Socio-Economic Studies at the Territorial Level: Machalilla and Puerto López.

• Systematized information for the mapping of key stakeholders at the local and community levels and socioeconomic baseline at the provincial level in Santa Elena.• Completed all technical reports required by the private donor for the research phase of the project.

• Taught the chairs of "Introduction to Political Philosophy" - 5th level and "Political Economy" - 7th level.• Developed syllabi for the two professorships taught at the university.

• Managed the socio organizational process in the Special Unit "Regulates Your Neighborhood of the Secretariat of Territorial Coordination and Citizen Participation – MDMQ.• Achieved the regularization of more than 20 human settlements in three administrative zones of the DMQ.• Coordinated the participation of more than 50 neighborhoods in the regularization process of the Centro and Valles zones of DMQ.• Developed participatory methodology to improve the socio-organizational management process of regularization in the DMQ.

• Researched and generated the studies: "Social Closing Plan of the Mariscal Sucre International Airport of Quito (AIMS)" and "Update of the socio-economic database AIMS - New Quito International Airport (NAIQ).• Developed the required technical documents at the socio-economic level.

• Researched and generated the studies: "Audit to the Social Management Plan of the Mariscal Sucre International Airport of Quito AIMS and New Quito International Airport NAIQ" and "Induced Urbanization Research Project, New Quito International Airport NAIQ."• Developed the required technical documents at the socio-economic level.

• Supported the technical team executing 3 "Provincial Health Promotion and Prevention Plans", one for each province of action of the Support Plan for the Health Sector of Ecuador - PASSE; Lot 3 Objective 5 of the European Union Support Program.• Accomplished all the workshops planned in three provinces of Ecuador.

Researched and developed of socio-economic components of 9 projects for environmental impact studies (EIA) and environmental management plans (EMP), as well as facilitated of 5 consultation processes and citizen participation in communities of the provinces of Orellana and Sucumbíos - Ecuadorian Amazon Region (RAE), as well as in the province of Santa Elena; I worked with Waorani, Kichwas and Shuar communities in these years.

Researched and generated the products: "DMQ Socioeconomic Base Line" and "Social Management Plan" for Mariscal Sucre International Airport (AIMS) and New Quito International Airport (NAIQ).
