I was assisting the Legal affairs team in solving regional policy related cases, such as the transposition of EU law relating Financial Instruments, interpretation of EU law and the implementation of EU public procurement rules. I also participated in infringement procedure preparations.In addition, attending meetings with representatives of the international civil sphere gave a unique experience.I completed a number of optional courses on a variety of topics including European Groupings for territorial cooperation (EGTC), European Structural and Investment Funds, Public procurement and Rural development programs.

During this time my duty was to support lawyers in specific criminal cases, assist them in phone and mail correspondence with Hungarian and foreign authorities.

At the Business development department I had the opportunity to assist SMEs in the region to start and grow their activities (internationalisation, export) with the help of the regional Council and EU (project support). Further, I analysed different cooperative regions and compared them through market reports (for example Baja California, Morocco, Hungary). I also assisted meetings between the French and Hungarian delegations to facilitate diplomatic discussion.
