I have learned a wide variety of skills over the last 35 years of being a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Currently I am a Narcotic Substance Technician as well as a Trainer. I work in a very fast paced environment where critical thinking and problem solving is a must. Fast paced multi-tasking is just part of the job. Here are some of the many skills that I have learned through a couple different jobs such as, Medicare D Specialist, Prescription Insurance Plans, Creating and Updating Patient Profiles, Putting in overrides for Pharmacies, Record Keeping, Customer Service, Data Entry, Lead Technician, Successful Trainer of over 25 new employees over last 10 years, sometimes training 4 at the same time. Excellent Team player. I pride myself in being a Mentor and being there for my co-workers if they need my help. Even when my trainees were signed off they always knew they could come to me for help. I feel we are always learning no matter how much we may think we know.
