As a teacher at Bricks4Kidz, I share my love of learning with children between the ages of 4 through 12. In a classroom format, we work on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) principles and social skills, all while building with LEGO bricks. We provide opportunities for after school enrichment, in-school field trips as well as summer/holiday camps. As Staff Manager from May 2016 to August 2019, I facilitated the interview, hiring, scheduling and training processes. I oversaw on average 12 instructors and aided them in developing classroom management skills and assisted in any conflict or issue management when needed. I also assisted with strategic planning, new curriculum development and day to day office management.

As a travel therapy recruiter, I developed relationships with therapists (PT, OT, SLP, PTA, OTA) who were interested in traveling the country as temporary relief in all medical settings. These relationships began with lead generating cold calls, emails from licensure lists and direct call ins and continued through a pitch, job search, negotiation and placement. After placement, I continued as a manager assisting as a mediator for the therapist and the facility in which they worked. As assignments came to a close, I would restart the job search and place the therapist in their next assignment. Job duties included a full hiring and screening process from interviewing, distributing essential HR documents (such as criminal background checks and drug testing forms) and providing orientation and training to Joint Commission standards.
