Edith has worked for dairy industry in farm service roles communicating all things milk such as contracts, pricing information and milk quality to dairy farmers. She has assisted in writing supply contracts and policy documents for dairy producers along with writing OH&S policies for the business. Edith has overseen dairy farmer monthly payments and built pricing data spread sheets. Edith also introduced and managed an on farm biosecurity program for farm service employees. Edith also worked for the Victorian and Queensland State Government in an Animal and Plant health role. Monitor and investigate disease outbreaks, certifying interstate movements, investigating animal welfare and emergency response after fire and floods. Edith has strong communication and excellent time management skills, which she can leveraged to build strong relationships across all aspects of the agricultural sectors including suppliers, external agencies, transport companies, government bodies and senior management. Edith achieved my Bachelor in Agricultural Science with Honours in 2002 and has undertaken further training in Workplace Training & Assessment and Mental Health First Aid. She has a strong passion for Agricultural and values the knowledge of knowing where and how our food is produce.Finally Edith has a strong passion for health/ welfare and biosecurity. Be it the farmer’s welfare or the animals anything can be achieved with passion and a holistic approach.
