Human resources functional lead for the Latin America region. This includes developing and implementing the people road-map, providing direction on all HR related matters, and spearheading the roll-out of the Group HR initiatives to synchronize and standardize the delivery of best talent practices across the region.

Aligned implementation of the Human Resources strategy across the countries belonging to the Reinsurance operation in Latin America including the main processes in the HR function. For Mexico I assist internal clients to align the business strategy with the Human Resources strategy, serving as a liaison between employees and the HR expertise areas in Mexico. Main Achievements:Performance Management and Talent Review: Implementation of the performance management and talent review processes, achieving a progressive increase reaching 80% of compliance in the region.Training & Development: Design and implementation of the selection process for the "Signature" training programs, monitoring compliance of the corporate guidelines and business needs. Talent Acquisition: Implementation of a review process to prioritize talent acquisition needs based on cost and benefit analysis. Compensation: Aligned implementation of the annual compensation cycle in all countries to determine salary increases and bonuses distribution reducing one month of the total time of the usual process.Talent Acquisition: I assured through my participation in the interview stage that 100% of the candidates presented to the business fulfill with the profile required. Training: Creation of the entire program, from the detection of training needs, design and the implementation of the plan, to the monitoring during the year and analysis of the impact. The program was implemented 100% according to the plan. Fusion of a new team: Acquisition of a new commercial team, being responsible of a smooth onboarding process for the new colleagues in a very short period of time.

Responsible for the implementation of the Global Human Resources programs in the Reinsurance operation across Latin America.I also performed the regional Marketing function being the main contact in Latin America for the Reinsurance division. Achievements in the position:Short Term Assignment: I Implemented for the first time a Short Term Assignment Program to London (6 months) for Latin America as part of the development for high potentials, regionally 6 colleagues from 4 different countries participated in this program. Training: I implemented the first Reinsurance training program (online) for new Colleagues. To the date 120 colleagues from 9 different countries has been trained through this platform. Regional Projects | Job Leveling and Job Families: Coordination of the regional job leveling project and homologation of job families throughout 9 countries. Marketing: Edition of the Human Resources bulletin for Latin America, launching 12 issues as well as in the edition of the magazine “Reaseguro Contemporaneo” for two years. Brand change: Brand Ambassador for Latin America during the rollout of the new brand in 2014 advising and monitoring the adherence to corporate guidelines. In addition, I generated efficiencies improving the time of design with the same cost.

Responsible for providing support to the HR Direction to implement strategies for the offices of Mexico and Panama, being the initial point of contact of the employees for any requirement. Achievements in the position:Talent Acquisition: I defined and implemented the talent acquisition process, creating profiles based in competences, and Service standards, as well as a psychometric battery aligned to each position.Merge of Benfield: Coordinate the merge process with Benfield, responsible of the onboarding of colleagues and managing any conflict in the work relation with employees. Training: Design and implementation of the training program with a compliance above 90% each year. Budget: Responsible of the budget execution I generated savings between 8% and 10% each year.ISO 9001-2008 certification: Achieve ISO 9001-2008 quality certification in the processes of Training, Recruitment and selection, and Payroll.
