Majoring in computer science can be challenging, but I believe in a challenge that is where breakthrough or failure can happen, but growth and change is gained in both outcomes. I am currently a senior at National Louis University, pursuing a Bachelors degree. I am majoring in Computer Science Information Systems. I am interested in Web Development and Business fields. I'm seeking internship opportunities related to these fields to gain real life experience and learn. I am patient, fast paced, and soft spoken. I speak fluently in Spanish and English. As a CSIS student, I have learned how to make my own website project using HTML/CSS. What made me enjoy this class was being able to use any topic to make a website. I've also made a rock paper scissors game using python as a project. In CSS 300, I learned how to analyze, research, and find common relationships. The purpose of this project was to demonstrate using functions to grab data from a data set, clean, organize and analyze. In CSS 303 I created a prototype of a grocery store as a project for class. The purpose of this was to understand about user testing and the experience. I have completed the Google UX certificate: Foundations of User Experience. I'm learning how to empathize with users, develop digital wireframes, and create a good user experience. I am currently in the process of completing the Google certification. I have completed 3 certificates of the 7 as of now. I learned how to create a low-fidelity prototype, digital wireframes using Figma, for Google's professional certification.
