When I was a kid, I used to get chided a lot for scribbling and drawing on the table (my excuse to reduce paper usage), and for hiding at the back of the couch to watch midnight anime 'with' my unaware older siblings, who would ‘escort’ a crying me back into the room for slumber, if discovered.My interest in anime, character and background design, and unconventional stories led me to pursue Animation in the university, where I embarked and am continuously learning to be a 2D and 3D animator who is proficient and flexible using various tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.). I have also recently undertaken a Japanese Language test, and acted as my sister’s personal translator in our trip to Japan, in exchange of using her camera to take photos of numerous tree barks for my illustrations.My passion for creativity and originality is accompanied with the excitement of production, and the value and message my illustrations and animations drive, such as anti-bullying message and emotions. For example, my LinkedIn banner I designed myself is meant to make people feel calm and peaceful. I am inspired to be a mature and inventive artist with a knack of story-telling, which I am brushing up by reading books and composing stories of different characters and backgrounds in my sketch books.Outside of work, I like to feed and help stray cats and dogs.
