Managing publication of books from pre-production to print in the Academic / Education division:– Setting budgets and timelines per title.– Overseeing editing, typesetting, proofreading, illustrations, cover designs, etc.– Commissioning and providing training, feedback and guidance to freelancers performing the above functions.– Updating and maintaining style guides per imprint.

Research: included historical research of certain public spaces, as well as designing questionnaires and conducting interviews and surveys; managing the data collected; presenting the data in an easily engaged-with manner. Co-wrote and edited a position statement on the Cape Town Stadium Business Plan.Project management: logistical co-ordination and management of a three-day tour of Cape Town through the lens of housing for students of the Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture and Design in Moscow. Included co-designing the itinerary, inviting speakers to participate, and co-ordinating transport.Communications: media statements, press releases and newsletters written and distributed via Mailchimp, the Future Cape Town website and Twitter.
