I prepare the operating room for the surgeon for all plastic cases such as Liposuction ,Tummy Tuck, Brachioplasty, Blepharoplasty, Rhinoplasty, and Breast Augmentation and Orthopedic cases such as Shoulders and Knee Arthroscopy, Carpal Tunnel, Trigger finger, and Release of Ulnar Nerve. I’ve learned how to set up the OR for Shoulder and knees Arthroscopy using the Stryker Tower and learned how to probably drape the patient and assist the Dr and learned orthopedic instruments how to set them up and pass on to the Dr. I learned how to scrub in for hand cases for carpal tunnel release, trigger finger and ulnar nerve release and which instruments are to be used and how to drape the patient. After each and every case I was in charge on wiping down the OR and mop the floors making sure no blood was left over and is clean for the next coming case. I’ve learned how to do a follow suture to close up and belly botton for tummy tuck cases and learned how to gently apply dressing onto the patient’s before taking them to recovery room. I was taught and was in charge to restock all exam rooms making sure gauzes, hypo needless bandages, local anesthetic and and dressing were available for the Dr to see patients and learned how to gently and properly remove all drains and teach patients how to take care of their incision site and learned how to remove sutures and showed patients how to care for their incision to prevent infection. When all cases were done and even in between cases I was in charge in washing all instruments making sure all blood and and patient body fluids were washed away and cleaned and assembled them back into their tray making sure they are organized , nicely wrapped and sterilize for the next day and or next upcoming case.I was also in charge in documenting all sterilized instruments and Bowie Dick Tests to make sure autoclave is sterilizing and working well.

Preparing the operating room for the surgeon for general or plastic cases and making sure all instruments, sponges, drapes and any supplies that the surgeon needs are ready for surgery. I'm in charge of washing all GI and EGD scopes,making sure they work properly and setting them up for the case, I’m in charge of washing and autoclaving all instruments for surgeries and also in charge of inventory making sure OR supplies are stocked and ready to use for all cases.I make sure the OR is clean and wiped down after every case and I organized and set up the OR bed and making sure everything is ready for the next surgery.I scrubbed hands and arms and helped scrub in the surgical team. I assist the surgeon with Cysto cases such as Anterior and Posterior Repair, Cystoscopy on female and male patients, Cysto with Stents and Bladder Suspension with Sling. I do general cases such Hernias and Plastic cases such as Breast Augmentation. I hold retractors and cut suture and perform other tasks as directed by the surgeon and also handing instruments to the surgeon and his assistant while maintaining a sterile field.I also keep track of inventory making sure all supplies are stocked and tracking how much supplies are needed to order more to use for my nurses and to use for the OR and make sure we have enough large and small oxygen tanks and make OR lights and anesthesia machine is working properly.

I would set up patients on to their therapies and answer any questions as best as I can. I would be in charge of medical records, making sure I have all the paperwork that any facility is requesting and send them to the right place. I would also do receptionist job such as answering phone calls, setting patients on to their next appointment, scanning documents emailing for the Dr. and billing patients for their session and supplements.

As a hostess I would great patients making them feel warm and welcomed on their stay. Checking patients in for complementary breakfast and happy hour and would be in charge of making sure the restaurant is clean and organized. As a server I would give great customer service making sure guests have water, taking their order correctly, and making sure they get their food and give to the without them waiting for so long and cleaning up the restaurant tables after guests are done with their meals.
