B e v v Beirl has a Bachelors degree in Education/Psychology from Ohio State University, has completed several certification programs in nutrition and exercise, including 2 certifications from the Dr. Ken Cooper Institute for Aerobic Research in Dallas Tx and an intense licensing program by best selling author and M.I.T. nutritionist, Covert Bailey. In the early 80’s B e v v was nationally ranked among the top ten women in racquetball, and was an avid runner. Also in the 80’s, B e v v initiated and acquired the funding for a wellness center at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater Fl. It is now one of the largest in the Tampa Bay Area, encompassing not only wellness but includes cardiac rehab. She taught the nutrition classes and acted as coordinator for the program until marrying and leaving the hospital. B e v v has a 1st-degree black belt in Kung Fu and Tai Chi and was the recipient of a Federal Grant from the Dept of Health to teach Rape prevention and personal safety to over 10,000 women in the Tampa Bay area.
